Visa partners with Blockfi for cash-back crypto credit card

VISA (NYSE: V) and Blockfi are partnering with a Bitcoin-back style rewards program, the first of a major institution accepting the technology. Apple Inc. (NYSE: AAPL) is rumored to have invested $3.6 billion USD in Korean car company KIA Motors (KRX: 000270) in the latest rumor of the tech giant’s entry into the electrification and autonomous vehicle space. Since 2014, beginning with Project Titan, there have been rumors of Apple entering the market a few times but with nothing conclusive. With a $193 billion USD war-chest of cash since Q2 2020, it makes sense to enter the space as the projected market of ride-sharing expects to top $218 billion USD by 2025.

Gamestop (NYSE: GME) moves forward into 2021 with a new chief technology officer, providing a promising shift to e-commerce amidst an 8x rise in market cap for the brick-and-mortar company since November 2020. Matt Francis, a former Amazon Web Services engineer, starts February 15th 2021 and is expected to lead the charge in Gamestop’s online presence.
