Gamestop stock slides while Virgin Galactic announces commercial spaceflight

February 1st 2021

Gamestop $GME slides for the first time in a week in both intra-day and after-hours, (down from $328.46 at open to $189.50 after-hours) after brokerages such as Robinhood continue to restrict shares of meme stocks populairzed on reddit.com/r/wallstreetbets. This limit has been raised up from 1 share to 20, but is still questionable in terms of limiting the choice and autonomy of traders.

Virgin Galactic $SPCE rises to $53.79 (+21.45%), breaking all-time highs once again - including another 9.13% gain after-hours. News for a commercial flight testing including an all-civilian journey to space is the primary catalyst for the rise in share price.
